Bird on a Wire started with a square "t-shirt" project whereas the known t-shirt was destroyed and a new concept was introduced: a square, part of a wall of 16 squares, 4x4, that make one big canvas. Once you buy a square, you buy a piece of that canvas, making you belong to a community. The squares were dubbed 80x80x80 as they were 80cmx80cm and sold for USD80, like a piece of land. 

One of the canvases was a picture of the designer's thumb print: once you buy a t-shirt, you own a piece of the designer's identity.
