Heterotopies

Heterotopies:
a term coined
by Michel Foucault

the imaginary space
that is created
around dancers

The first official collection was inspired by Heterotopies - a term coined by Michel Foucault - which revolves around the 'other space', the imaginary space that is created around dancers. Using nitinol memory wires to make static dancing volumes of garments around the body, these pieces are light, airy and easy to wear whilst giving the illusion of movement even if the wearer is standing still.
